ACCREDITATION PROCESS FOR REGISTRAR AGENTS .CL

1. KNOW .CL REGULATIONS

Read the .CL accreditation policy and regulations regarding functioning of .CL name register.

2. COMPLETE THE APPLICATION FORM

Complete the form to commercially identify the company and its representatives. We have two forms: one for companies already accredited by ICANN and another for Chilean companies without any accreditation.

3. BACKGROUND CHECK

NIC Chile Registry will check the applicant’s background and documentation, its previous experience and commercial behavior.

4. TECHNICAL TESTS

The applicant must perform interconnection tests to the Registry system to verify compliance with known technical standards in the domain name industry.

5. SUBSCRIPTION OF CONTRACTS

NIC Chile Registry and the agent must sign the contracts, with its respective processing..

6. START OF PRODUCTION

Upon processing contracts and with their resolution approval, the production starts and the registrar is ready to register domains under .CL .
